What is the most popular Edwin Jagger razor?

So what is the most popular Edwin Jagger razor?

Well we took the trouble to visit the factory and put the question to Neil Jagger himself.

The answer. The DE89lbl.
Why? Because its become popular among students because of it’s high quality and low entry cost. Add to that the very low cost of blades and the answer is fairly obvious when you think about it.

Where can you buy the DE 89lbl at the lowest price?

Well superior shaving take some beating. At less than £20 they are cheaper than amazon, the English shaving company and most of the big retailers.

What’s the price point that you would buy a scarf on line?

Yesterday, in between the rain showers on the golf course, we were trying to decide whether ladies scarves can be sold on line. Being blokes we decided to postpone the decision until we had received the benefit of guidance from our better informed and clearly more enlightened members of the team.

The wisdom imparted was yes, but at a price. As we know, ladies like to feel, touch, browse, sniff, try on, take off, try on again a purchase before buying. The main reason we were on the golf course on Saturday afternoon..

The range in question is produced by Lettuce (HLA London). We (that’s the royal we) the team think they are quite good and the girls are particularly enthusiastic but we would welcome your input…

Take a look at the range we have chosen.

Questions from us.

  1. Which do you like the best?
  2. Are the prices right?
  3. What are we missing?

MrG..

Toothbrush hygiene . Steripod

So this morning we are on bathroom hygiene. Let’s be honest for most of us it’s our first meeting of the day.

What surprised me, when I did my usual Google of the day,…. that sounds a bit off doesn’t it ? My first Google of the day…hmm.

What I meant to say was, having left the bathroom it got me thinking about bathroom hygiene. I had read something somewhere about research done by Manchester Univeristy about the Aerosol Effect.

So, I googled ” manchester university aerosol effect” and came across this blog having read it I then tried  “toothbrush hygiene” .

The result of all this effort is that water droplets from the toilet, when flushed with the lid up, can travel up to 2 meters and land on your exposed toothbrush !!

So what’s available to stop it?

Well this little gimmick looks the business.

So questions.
1. Would you use it?
2. What would you pay for it?
3. What’s the alternatives?
4. Is it something you are bothered about at all ?

Mountain Eyewear. Is it colour, features, goggles or glasses?

Mr Go Oggle reporting in.

So, this morning’s little Oggle on Google, was to have a look at Mountain Eyewear, not the Goggles but Ski Glasses. Google threw up these and that got me thinking, always dangerous I know.

  1. Is it Goggles or Glasses for the slopes?
  2. Is white the colour?
  3. Which lens works best and when?
  4. Did you know you can change the arms on these by pressing the button on the side and put on a restraining strap ?

No I didn’t either till I had a look at some of the options available.

What’s the best pair of Goggles you have ever had ? Is it Oakley who seem to dominate the market for Goggles but what about the type of mountain eyewear shown above. These are Nannini again but, I have to say the Italian Style just right isn’t it? BUT is it right for the slopes?

Comments please..

MrG…

Reading Glasses. What’s the best pair you’ve bought on line?

Now here is an interesting fact. Did you know that 60% of the population over the age of 40 will need some help with reading a book, letter or watch due to Presbyopia ?

What is it ? Age related, a diminished ability to focus on near objects so, unless you are very lucky, even though you have perfect eye sight now, well at some point age is going to get you :-(

So having Oggled via Google this morning, yes I know, I just can’t resist getting it in somewhere in the text, we’ve come across these. Nannini of Italy produce the flatest reading glasses you can buy, we think, possibly (caveat, caveat) unless of course you know different ?

Question.

  1. What’s your favourite colour of arm?
  2. Have you found any flatter glasses?
  3. What are your favourites?
  4. What’s the most difficult time to need your reading glasses? (We think it’s in the shower in a hotel when you need to read the label on the tiny bottles they supply to decide if you are going to wash your hair in body lotion or shampoo)

Over to you …Mr G

Are ladies scarves addictive?

Do women buy scarves on line ?

Well in undertaking my first Oggle of the morning via Google then I can definitely report yes ..Well what would you exepect from Mr Go Oggle but Yes.

Scarves seem to be on offer from Marks and Spencer, Jaeger, Tie Rack etc all the usual high street stores but will you buy them on line or, do you need to do the touchy feely bit?

Of course the next question though is, once you start can you stop? Are they as addictive as shoes and handbags?

You never know when you are going to need another one to brighten up a dull tee shirt or, is there more to it, are they an itch that just has to be scratched?

There seems to be a whole range out there but we do quite like this one from Lettuce. It’s called JuJu South Beach, interesting name. Is that where you would wear it?

We’ve also come across Meg Mathews Scarves

So here are some questions for you to comment on.

  1. What’s the best material for a scarf?
  2. What’s the most useful colour?
  3. Who produces the best scarves?
  4. How many scarves does the average woman have in her collection?

Mens Wet Razors. Which is the best one and your favourite?

What’s the best wet shaver in the world ?

We think it’s this one the Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Fusion why?

  1. Because it looks and feels right in the hand
  2. I have to be honest I do like the Gillette Fusion Head, the extra blade for taking off those wiskers under the nose is just brilliant
  3. It looks bloody good in black
  4. It’s well balanced
  5. It’s nicely expensive £74.40 inc Vat

What’s your favourite ? Come on Go Oggle… Yes …..Get it ?
